fishstickkitty
I am pretty fired up...I have a Heritage Briton III head incoming. Does anybody have any info on this? I never see "briton III" heads..only Briton II.
rjsanders
i saw this somewhere recently (past couple of months - here? TGP?) and am not quite sure what to make of it. i love Heritage amps, have a Briton II rig, and have tried to learn all i could about them. i don't think Heritage ever marketed a "III", so maybe this is a prototype of some kind. what's the 1st control on the left? Paul Cochrane could answer any of your questions, or maybe Peter Mather (the cab designer/builder). regardless, hope you enjoy it

I never see "briton III" heads..only Briton II. Wow, another new-to-me Heritage amp! Your Briton III must have been one of the last amps to leave the old Tennessee factory before they turned the lights out. I've found no written material about a 'III' series. If you could post a photo of the rear panel, it might shed a little light on what makes it different from the 'I' and 'II' versions. Maybe not, but it still would be cool to see more of it. I hope this old link still works. It's the old Heritage Amplification website. http://web.archive.org/web/20071209084748/http://www.heritageamplifiers.com/product.html
