holyroller Posted November 17, 2013 Posted November 17, 2013 After a few weeks with my stat , i am tookin back by it. I find myself picking it up over everything else i have. The feel and balance, and scale are a home run ! Also the tone is rigjt in my wheelhouse, not a strat or lp, but i mix of both. Its got its own flavor going on. These are a must to have in your stable of guitars. Mine has the mini toggles, wich take some time to get usef to, but those are even cool . Glad i jumped on this guitar, the pricing on these are just ridicules.
schundog Posted November 17, 2013 Posted November 17, 2013 Yeah, I dig mine, too. It's not my #1, but I do enjoy it, and have been playing it a lot more lately. And yes, when they can be found, they are a very inexpensive addition to one's Heritage stable.
big bob Posted November 17, 2013 Posted November 17, 2013 The stat is my most comfortable sitting down guitar, certainly the one I grab when I want to sit on the couch and pick out a new song. I took out the Duncan 59 and replaced it with a vintage early 80s dimarzio classic paf. Now it has a little more sparkle and growl. My stat is also quite a bit lighter than most of my other guitars. I wish it had a bigsby!

big bob Posted November 17, 2013 Posted November 17, 2013 I would rather it had an actual bigsby! Just saying.
Number8 Posted November 17, 2013 Posted November 17, 2013 I would rather it had an actual bigsby! Just saying. I Bigsby-fitted tombstone would be both preposterous and awesome.

holyroller Posted November 17, 2013 Author Posted November 17, 2013 I like the floyd better. I just really really like the feel of the stat. Put a 157 neck on one and this would be my missing link.
big bob Posted November 17, 2013 Posted November 17, 2013 There is a guy who has a maple neck stat for sale /trade. I do not know this guy, just stumbled across the listing. http://raleigh.craigslist.org/msg/4179186076.html
