Heritage H120 Question

Hi everyone,

I'm wondering if people can share some thoughts on the H120 model. I've read a handful of older threads so I have basic info.

I have a chance to pick one up for $350, looks to be in good condition but I have to take a drive to get it.

I have a 150 that I love which is why this one caught my eye. The one I'm looking at is a D serial number, that makes it an '87 I suppose?

Any 120 owners out there that can talk about their guitar?

If I get it and decide it's not for me, what's the resale on something like this?

Thanks!

I like mine. It is a slab body with a bolt on neck, volume only. No tone control to worry about! Mine didn't have a pick \up in it when I got it so I can't comment on the original, but mine sounds sweet with the Fat Cat I put in it. Mine is also a "D" and has a bit fatter neck then my 535, for what it's worth

It is my traveling/jam night guitar.

Mine is an '87 (D serial) and the neck is kind of middle of the road size wise. They were made from leftover parts from the old Gibson S1/Marauder line. I have the original Bill Lawrence designed pickup in mine, and it's kind of a lower output. It's pretty cool but I never get around to playing it. Seems like depending on condition, they tend to get between $300-$500 from what I've seen.

Had one with a bad pickup which was replaced with a humbucker sized P90. Played great. The price is right!
