Yooper Posted November 22, 2013 Posted November 22, 2013 You guys are a very bad influence on me. This "addiction support club" is getting out of hand. It's only been four decades since I foolishly parted with my old Gold Top with P-90's. Finally those old sweet and gnarly tones are back in the rack. Thanks, eljay!
Guest HRB853370 Posted November 22, 2013 Posted November 22, 2013 Glad you re-homed it-had I not had one almost identical it would have been on the way to SC!!!
eljay Posted November 22, 2013 Posted November 22, 2013 my pleasure, yoopski! play it in good health!
Gitfiddler Posted November 22, 2013 Posted November 22, 2013 Nice 150 P90 GT. I had one exactly like it a while back...and miss it. I like the Lollars on those.
111518 Posted November 22, 2013 Posted November 22, 2013 Congrats Yooper. Beautiful guitar, and a cool configuration. I'm on a pretty strict guitar diet (I did buy a closeout uke the other day, but that's sort of like a low-cal snack), but this guitar was a temptation, and especially since I know from experience that Eljay only deals in the good stuff.
Keith7940236 Posted November 22, 2013 Posted November 22, 2013 Congratulations, that is a real beauty!
Spectrum13 Posted November 22, 2013 Posted November 22, 2013 P90 GT's look much better with a scratch guard. I had one like that in 68 which I sold in the 70s. Replaced in 2007 with a 150 GT. Classic score!
bolero Posted November 23, 2013 Posted November 23, 2013 ohhh...look at that...beauty! between that & John Covach' P90 H150 I am about to have a heart attack
Steiner Posted November 23, 2013 Posted November 23, 2013 You Ooper! Congrats on your score. You've written about your want for some time and Now you (finally) got it. Take a deep breath and play. May that smile never leave you. She' a beauty. Happy NGD!
RhoadsScholar Posted November 23, 2013 Posted November 23, 2013 Those are beautiful sounding/playing guitars. You did good. Enjoy
