hinesarchtop Posted November 24, 2013 Posted November 24, 2013 If you could get one Heritage guitar back that you had sold which one would it be and why? For me it would be a custom ordered (Wolfe) Super Eagle that was X braced, tap tuned top and back, upgraded woods, (when JP Moats still was there)#3 floating pickup, and almond sunburst finish. I waited almost 18 months and by the time I received it I was more into mounted pickups, so I kept it for a while and sold it before it even got a fair chance to open up sound wise. It was very light weight, and had stunning Maple throughout. Someone here on the forum has a twin to this one.....maybe DC Ron???
barrymclark Posted November 24, 2013 Posted November 24, 2013 Well, I can't say I have a 'the one that got away'. Unless I sell my H575.... and I have no such inclination. Sent from my SCH-I605 using Tapatalk
PunkKitty Posted November 24, 2013 Posted November 24, 2013 It would be the H-170LW that MartyGrass now owns. It has a wonderful chunky neck. It was my first Heritage. I foolishly sold it.
hinesarchtop Posted November 24, 2013 Author Posted November 24, 2013 where do I start? LOL. Brent, you're obviously the exception here. Please list the 100 that got away.
Keith7940236 Posted November 24, 2013 Posted November 24, 2013 Probably my Eagle TDC. It was parallel braced, 2-1/4" at the rim. I foolishly sold it thinking that I needed more bling.
Guitarbean Posted November 24, 2013 Posted November 24, 2013 My H530 and my spruce 575. In fact, those are the only Heritage guitars I've sold.
tulk1 Posted November 24, 2013 Posted November 24, 2013 I have one. My 2001 Millie SAE. Of all the guitars I've ever owned and sold, that one sits at the top of my "wish I hadn't" list. It was not only a very unique guitar, but a beauty to play. Not truly sure why I ever did sell it. It went to a friend of a friend, who has since joined the HoC. So I know it's in good hands. But ... yeah, wish I'd never sold that one.
MartyGrass Posted November 25, 2013 Posted November 25, 2013 It would be the H-170LW that MartyGrass now owns. It has a wonderful chunky neck. It was my first Heritage. I foolishly sold it. That is very strange because that was on the top of my list until recently. There's nothing on it now really.
slider313 Posted November 25, 2013 Posted November 25, 2013 Well, that would be the blue H147. I sold it in 2006 and bought it back this year.
TalismanRich Posted November 25, 2013 Posted November 25, 2013 I don't regret a single Heritage that I sold...... Not one! I haven't sold any!
brentrocks Posted November 25, 2013 Posted November 25, 2013 LOL. Brent, you're obviously the exception here. brentrocks Posted November 25, 2013 Posted November 25, 2013 Well, that would be the blue H147. I sold it in 2006 and bought it back this year. H 147s are rare....you see about 1 a year on ebay, if you are lucky
brentrocks Posted November 25, 2013 Posted November 25, 2013 I would say the Gary Moore that I sold to Ken

heritagefan7 Posted November 25, 2013 Posted November 25, 2013 Brent...wow--I could spend all day looking at those....I hated that I let my 555 get away--even though it went to a great HOC home. Live and learn
Guest HRB853370 Posted November 25, 2013 Posted November 25, 2013 That certainly cannot be all of them Brent. I think you left out several hundred!
