Lead guitarist was playing a strat, drummer, bassist, and me. The band plays early beatles (well), sixties, and selected 70's rock. I chose to bring my Heritage assuming that I would be doing a lot of comping, textural stuff, and the occasional solo. I brought a bottleneck in case it came up (I string the H-530 with .11's).

One of the best sit-in experiences I've had in a long time.

These occasions -- gifts -- are to be treasured, I think. Almost as good as food or sleep.... Photo says it all!

Well-said. My GF is a very talented photographer and she always manages to capture some of the emotional nuances of people playing music together.

Very cool! Thanks for the pic, glad you had fun! I had a couple grown men over to jam in the basement on Saturday, and one of them just sent me his second gushing text about how much fun it was. I had I agree, and I think Yoslate's thoughts are dead on.

Your GF IS very good, and you look like you're having so much fun. That's what it's all about.
