greatmutah Posted December 9, 2013 Posted December 9, 2013 So I was browsing used Heritage guitars on GC online and I came across one with a blue burst, but the pic didn't really show much. Very low res, and hard to make out any details. That being said I know we have our Bay Watch forum and low and behold, said guitar is in there. At that point, it took me about 30 seconds to realize I needed this guitar. I went to my local GC, ordered it, picked it up Friday and I've been playing it since. Pics: The original that sold me A couple at home: It did have the OHSC as well with case candy and had Hangar18's tape labels on the bottom. So it looked great but how does it play? Fan-freaking-tastic. Neck action is super low but doesn't buzz or fret out. It's thicker than the standard 60s style profile but not as thick as my 157. It's actually closer to my Les Paul Studio. It sounds excellent plugged in. Cleans are excellent and very full sounding, and under higher gain settings it shines. It gets along well with both my Dual Rectifier and my Deliverance. I think it likes my Deliverance more to be honest. Overall, it's a fantastic guitar and I'm very, very happy with it. Now I've got two H guitars in my stable.
PunkKitty Posted December 9, 2013 Posted December 9, 2013 That's a great 150. I tried it at PSP last year. Congrats!
davesultra Posted December 9, 2013 Posted December 9, 2013 Nice burst! I also see an old friend of mine in that pic. Congrats, HBNGD!
Beagle216 Posted December 9, 2013 Posted December 9, 2013 Really nice looking pair! Great job! Merry Christmas to you!
fxdx99 Posted December 9, 2013 Posted December 9, 2013 Very pretty dark blueburst - congrats! Couple of really nice guits there.
greatmutah Posted December 9, 2013 Author Posted December 9, 2013 Nice burst! I also see an old friend of mine in that pic. Congrats, HBNGD! The old friend is doing quite well. It gets a ton of play time. Really, really enjoy that guitar. The new one is pretty fantastic too. Both guitars have really surprised me with just how "right" each one has felt in my hands.
