Thoughts? You'll sell it in ............. 2 weeks. Solid state amp. Don't think you'll like it in the end.

Had one. Used it...some. Liked it...sorta...for a bit. Sold it. Don't miss it. In other words, what Kenny said.

I'd go for the Mesa 5:50. You'll have clean, crunch and gain all on one foot switch. These amps are infinitely tweakable.

I don't want to sell anything to buy an amp...

You don't have to. Keep everything and buy an amp. That is what I would do.

DB~ I'm convinced from your posts that you really enjoy the hunt for new gear. It can be addictive. I know. I've got a similar issue. But back to your query about the Tech 21 T60 amp, they are great, but limited tonewise. Les Paul used one at the Aridium nightclub up until his passing. But he had one sound...one basic tone that he was after. CLEAN. The T60 gave that to him.

Is that what you are currently looking for? If so, maybe a Roland Cube 80 would give better options. As a former owner of two Tech 21 amps (Trademark 10 and 30), they are merely OK. These days there are many better amps in the same or similar price range.

Enjoy the hunt!

I finally had a chance to play one today. I thought the overdrive, British tones were good. The Fender like channel was really thin. Over all, I'm glad I have my Traynor and didn't buy this. Great amp, just not for me. Might look into a Power Engine to play my iPad through.

I have my eye on a Mesa 5:50 which seems to be universally praised on this forum.
