Do I need to leave now?

Well, it is with great sadness that I no longer own a Heritage, with no end in sight for when that will change. I am pretty sure you don't need to own a Heritage to participate here, and I really am dying to come to a PSP! I guess I just feel bad, I am down to only two guitars, one acoustic & 1 electric & 1 amp.

Sort of nice for a change, but I never intended to let go of my 535, the life situation dictated it... And the SG I kept over the Heritage had nothing to do with which one played better, but everything due to the fact that it was a purchase from someone in my life whom I admire deeply and is very sentimental to me. If I was homeless, I would still have the SG. Just the way it shook out.

So I guess the stupid question is... Can I still come to PSP & stay here, or is ownership a requirement?

Maybe this post is the first step of my grieving process.

This has happened before and the answer is always the same .... of course you're still welcome around here! You'll have more Heritage guitars in the future!

Just because you don't know a Heritage doesn't mean anything. This club is for people who enjoy Heritage guitars. Stick around and who knows you may own one again sooner than you know.

Of course you can stay!! I joined when I didn't own a Heritage, or even knew if I ever would. I was just an admirer. And, there is much information to be learned here, on many topics!!! And, I've learned, many good folks.

Actually, Beagle, sounds exactly like you need to stay. And I hope you can make it to PSP! If you feel you need a Heritage to justify your presence there, you can lug one of mine around all weekend....

Leave, and don't come back until you have REDEEMED yourself!! :laughing9: I'm totally joking. Our most prolific poster on the forum, DetroitBlues, has found himself Heritage-less a few times, and has stuck around. I suggest you do the same, and by all means, join us for the next PSP. I've got a Heritage or two I'll let you play if you decide to come.

Yeah, if we let DB stick around, for sure you're welcome. Hope you find another Heritage in your future.

Only kidding Josh.

The HOC is more about a person's spirit than it is about guitars that may, or may not be, currently in their possession.

Actually this club is for Heritage owners. But I see it as just fine if you are a past or future owner. Besides, who can toss out those puppy eyes?

We all love beagles except when they are howling at 3 am. Please stay.

Past, present, and future Heritage Owners are all here. Even Heritage Renters, if there are any, would fit in here.

My neighbor has a beagle. When I go over by his house, I ask, "Who's there?" He always replies and tells me his name , "Raouuuull!!"

Thanks to all who replied. I really enjoy the forum, I am looking forward to meeting you all at the next PSP.

Edit: I am here to stay!!

I was in your situation a couple of years ago and had to sell my beloved Heritage. I got down to one guitar. My Kramer Baretta for the same sentimental reasons. I will never part with it. I was able to get another Heritage and love it. STAY!!!! This is by far the nicest group of people as forums go in my opinion. At least you can join in some really nice discussions and get G.A.S. as you go. Good luck with everything.

Funny, Brent and I had this conversation about 10:30 this morning. Of course it was a "tongue-in-cheek" question on my behalf. After our transaction this A.M. I'm now Heritage-less. However I'm not without Kalamazoo wood! :D Brent assured me that it was fine to stick around the forum! I'm sure I'll be back in the "H" fold sooner as opposed to later! So definitely stick around, this is a great place!

What part of Maryland? If I knew it before, my apologies but I forgot.
