Drew Posted November 4, 2007 Posted November 4, 2007 I am lookiing at a 2007 Super Eagle that the label says "Heritage Custom Shop" I have 3 other Heritages and they do not have that on the label. Question - do all Super Eagles because they are (I guess?) limited in number, come from the Custom Shop? How does the CS differ from regular line guitars? Are they made by one luthier? This one does not appear to have any "one off" or custom features. Anyone know how many SEs are made in 2007 before they went down in KZoo for a while? Thanks
Thundersteel Posted November 4, 2007 Posted November 4, 2007 ALL my Heritage guitars have "Heritage Custom Shop" on the label. Maybe I just got lucky?
Drew Posted November 4, 2007 Author Posted November 4, 2007 If everone is "Custom" whats custom about that ???
Gitfiddler Posted November 5, 2007 Posted November 5, 2007 Heritage makes a Limited number (approx. 1,200 guitars/year) of handmade guitars that can be custom ordered based on their basic models, with one-off features, upgraded woods, tap tuned, HRW pickups, and more. Plus they are made by a select few of arguably some of the most experienced guitar luthiers in the business. That sounds like a righteous 'custom shop' to me. Try getting that from Fender or Gibson's Custom Shop.
