Fildogg Posted January 20, 2014 Posted January 20, 2014 In the Heritage sales forum I noticed that the headstock logo on the 150 that Guitarbean was selling (sold) is different than the logo on the headstock of GT that detroitblues sold. What is the history or reason behind the different "The Heritage" logos on the headstock?
bolero Posted January 21, 2014 Posted January 21, 2014 link to pics? *edit* oh, I see...guitarbean's H150 is an upgraded model, with a bound headstock and mother-of-pearl inlay the normal H150 has a silkscreened ( is that the term? or painted? ) logo & unbound headstock
skydog52 Posted January 21, 2014 Posted January 21, 2014 The headstock on Blues is a standard decal. Guitarbean head veneer is Mother of Pearl. I don't know the history.
skydog52 Posted January 21, 2014 Posted January 21, 2014 Standard models have the decal. Check out website. Any veneer can be ordered with guitar. Here is a Eagle head stock veneer.
soybean Posted January 29, 2014 Posted January 29, 2014 . I have two H575. One has a longer headstock than the other. (1999 bigger than 1995). The Heritage headstock shape is based on Gibson "snakehead" pegheads from the 1920s. I think they look perfect.
