peterbright Posted January 30, 2014 Posted January 30, 2014 I think I need one...any suggestions as to options?
CJTopes Posted January 30, 2014 Posted January 30, 2014 Well....I really like and use the coil splits I installed. I also upgraded to Pearly gates PUPs.
Blunote Posted January 30, 2014 Posted January 30, 2014 They come standard pretty tricked out. Some prefer chrome or nickel hardware to the gold plated. I guess I'd make that decision based on the finish chosen. You might also talk to the dealer about where the selector switch should be mounted. That's about all I can think of.
CJTopes Posted January 30, 2014 Posted January 30, 2014 After I got used to it I love where the selector switch is...
PrairieDude Posted January 30, 2014 Posted January 30, 2014 I don't need one. And I certainly can't justify one, but I sure have been jonesing for a Millennium DC here lately. I hope you get one!!
Millennium Maestro Posted January 30, 2014 Posted January 30, 2014 I think I need one...any suggestions as to options? Are you planning on ordering or locating a used DC? They are not easy to find used with little options to choose because you get what's available.
peterbright Posted January 30, 2014 Author Posted January 30, 2014 Actually the one they have in stock at Wolfe's with the Seth Lovers is looking great to me.
Frank67 Posted January 30, 2014 Posted January 30, 2014 I understand the gas ... That one is also one on my never ending "want" list ... Good luck - and post pics!
Number8 Posted January 30, 2014 Posted January 30, 2014 Actually the one they have in stock at Wolfe's with the Seth Lovers is looking great to me. I once bought a Millie that had Seths when I got it. I swapped them out for HRWs and later regretted it. Seths and Millies go well together.
tulk1 Posted January 30, 2014 Posted January 30, 2014 There is a beauty It is. Thanks. It also has the distinction of being the faster custom order on the HoC. 30 days from order to my door. Only thing I can figure is they had something similar in the mix and just customized it for me. This one has Tom Short humbuckers. Had to order Tone Pros, which I guess are standard now. Fat 50s neck. Faded binding. MoP inlay on headstock. I specified Traps. And sent them a picture of one of Kuz's guitars for the type of flame I wanted. ....
Redsand Posted January 30, 2014 Posted January 30, 2014 I like this one. This is it people! Just incredible.
peterbright Posted January 30, 2014 Author Posted January 30, 2014 30 days is a miracle Sent from my SAMSUNG-SGH-I527 using Tapatalk
H Posted January 30, 2014 Posted January 30, 2014 I like this one. I'd like to see some sunlight pics of this. I bet the flame bounces off that guitar!
PrairieDude Posted January 30, 2014 Posted January 30, 2014 That is a very beautiful guitar, tulk1. What are you describing when you say, "faded binding"? Cream instead of white? Or something else? Gorgeous guitar. That's the kind of guitar that could easily make me spend money I don't really have. When I bought my 150 Special, I was warned. Geesh.
mark555 Posted January 30, 2014 Posted January 30, 2014 I like this one. Totally beautiful guitar, I love the finish and the beautiful flamed top.
CJTopes Posted January 30, 2014 Posted January 30, 2014 Chico had one similar to that one,,, awesome finish. Makes my black one look ugly by comparison. I also removed the HRWs out of mine. They were too bright for what I was looking for.
pressure Posted January 30, 2014 Posted January 30, 2014 Fab Mille. But back to the original question my favorite option is a 5-piece neck.
Tim Posted January 30, 2014 Posted January 30, 2014 Love mine and will probably hang on to it! Actually was thinking I'd love to add a single cut Millie Ultra (or non Ultra) to my collection.
peterbright Posted January 30, 2014 Author Posted January 30, 2014 I definately want the DC...the Eagles are the only single cuts I need.
bolero Posted January 30, 2014 Posted January 30, 2014 who had the black millie DC at PSP IV? that was nice too!!
