Gitfiddler Posted February 7, 2014 Posted February 7, 2014 Dave, that turned out beautifully! From concept, custom specs, wood selection, to final end product, that is simply amazing!!
kidsmoke Posted February 7, 2014 Posted February 7, 2014 Never seen a guitar so over the top, that really isn't. What a beautiful axe. Well done.
PaGator Posted February 7, 2014 Posted February 7, 2014 Beautiful guitar, agree it looks better without the pickguard, congrats!
bolero Posted February 7, 2014 Posted February 7, 2014 holy crap, that is a nice specimen indeed!! extremely nice snatch!!
tbonesullivan Posted February 7, 2014 Posted February 7, 2014 Nothing plain about that! It's gorgeous! incredible guitar. Enjoy it!
GASguy Posted February 7, 2014 Posted February 7, 2014 WOW!!! That is a Guitar! Love the 1 piece top, 5 piece neck, the color and the stars in traps inlay! Well done!
DavesNotHere Posted February 8, 2014 Author Posted February 8, 2014 That looks fantastic, Dave, congratulations! So, how many boys do you have? Three, I think. And how many custom builds have you done? Two? Hmmm, I think this is an excellent time to put some specs together for the next one, you know, just so the boys will all have something to remember dear-old-Dad by. At least that's how I'd pitch it to the wife..... Enjoy that baby! Thanks everone. She already feels like an old friend. I'm lovin' the Lovers. The 150 I got from Slammer had 59s and I never did bond with those, And Brian, yup. I'm already there man.
Guest HRB853370 Posted February 12, 2014 Posted February 12, 2014 LOL.... Marv's an interesting cat. Meeoooowwwww!

Well Dave, ya could have easily changed those pups out of course, and now I am really regretting not buying it back from you cuz I see now why ya sold it, to get this new beauty! I will forgo the usual "FAB and SNATCH" nomenclature that is used, and just say, "very well done". Now get working on the design for your next one!!!
Spectrum13 Posted February 12, 2014 Posted February 12, 2014 Cool blend of upgraded features assume you now have your ultimate 150. Now the only HOC member who ordered a new build at PSP which is yet to be delivered would be Mr. Pressure
Stringman Posted February 12, 2014 Posted February 12, 2014 Guys: Gotta agree, that's one great looking H-150. I didn't see anywhere what the actual weight on the guitar is. Did I miss it? Sure would like to know. Take care. Stringman
rockabilly69 Posted February 12, 2014 Posted February 12, 2014 Dave I really like the three piece neck on those. I think multipiece necks are great for stability! If I was to custom spec a guitar I would do that because alot of necks twist here in the Utah desert!
SouthpawGuy Posted February 14, 2014 Posted February 14, 2014 Very nice ! Love the trademark inlays. Congrats on a great 150.
