heritagefan7 Posted February 9, 2014 Posted February 9, 2014 Love the guitar and the sentiment that came with it--Birth year guitar is so cool!
tonedeaf Posted February 9, 2014 Posted February 9, 2014 Very nice. I came real close to jumping on this one. Wound up with a nice goldtop instead.
DC Ron Posted February 10, 2014 Posted February 10, 2014 Great find. I really like the old 150's, and NOS/gently aged/bone stock is a great bonus. Enjoy!
schundog Posted February 10, 2014 Posted February 10, 2014 What Would Randy Rhodes Do?! Rock it, of COURSE!! Enjoy that one, Bob, I know you'll make it sing!

yoslate Posted February 11, 2014 Posted February 11, 2014 "She breeches...!" (Sorry. Couldn't resist....one of my favorite novels.) Nice acquisition. Not usually a fan of white guitars, that one reminds me of a Custom I once had, that was the color of a Ukranian life-long smoker's teeth, much more yellow than yours. It was pretty cool. This is a nice looking Heritage!
H Posted February 11, 2014 Posted February 11, 2014 Following the thread's current direction, perhaps the first tune played on it should be 'Nantucket Sleighride'?
koula901 Posted February 12, 2014 Posted February 12, 2014 With all respect to the women on this forum, nice acquisition!!!!! Thank you Slammer.
RhoadsScholar Posted February 12, 2014 Author Posted February 12, 2014 One of my Mountain favorites. I have til August to Learn this. Any volunteers to sing it at HOC.... Brian (Shundog) what do you say? Love it. Randy Rhoads was a huge Mountain Fan so it would be RhoadsScholar approved.
RhoadsScholar Posted February 12, 2014 Author Posted February 12, 2014 Congrats on the birth year guitar! Thanks to all.... As a result of this aquisition, I no longer miss my 1979 Gibson Cream les paul custom..... Side by side, this is a much better guitar.
mark555 Posted February 13, 2014 Posted February 13, 2014 Very nice! I am a big fan of guitars without binding, they have an organic feeling to them.
