joesupposta Posted February 11, 2014 Posted February 11, 2014 Just purchased my second Heritage From GC. It is a little abused but the price was right! It has the fattest neck I have ever played. Actually it's very comfortable. Here are a few shots of the guitar. As far as the serial number, it was made on the 85th day of the year. First one made. I'm not sure what the z1 year would be. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks, Joe
Thundersteel Posted February 11, 2014 Posted February 11, 2014 Nice guitar! But it wasn't made on the 85th day of the year; rather, it was made on the 237th day of the year (365-128=237), which makes born on Aug 25. The Z indicates the model year (2009). The 01 at the end means it was the first guitar produced that day.

H Posted February 11, 2014 Posted February 11, 2014 Nice! Is the natural guitar at the edge of the pic another Heritage?
Keith7940236 Posted February 11, 2014 Posted February 11, 2014 Congratulations, nice guitar. Let us know how it sounds!

MartyGrass Posted February 11, 2014 Posted February 11, 2014 Congratulations, nice guitar. Let us know how it sounds! Let me make a prediction. It sounds fabulous! How could it not? Fat necks are in the last five years or so.
buzzy Posted February 12, 2014 Posted February 12, 2014 Now, now, now. FAT is such a derogatory descriptor for such a fine girl. Maybe 'ample' or 'full-figured' as a alternative. Congratulations on a fine specimen. She looks like a whole lotta fun!
heritagefan7 Posted February 12, 2014 Posted February 12, 2014 NHD is always a great reason for celebration!---Super nice git!
Gitfiddler Posted February 12, 2014 Posted February 12, 2014 Fat nekit girls are fun. Oh, did you meant neck?! They're fun too. Congratulations on the new-to-you 575! I thought it was a 525 with humbuckers from the pictures.
joesupposta Posted February 12, 2014 Author Posted February 12, 2014 Thanks Thundersteel for the correct birthdate on the 575. Also thanks to all for the good wishes. the guitar sounds fabulous with the Seth lovers and I certainly will not throw her out of bed for having a fat neck! my 535 will have to take a back seat for now. take care.
Redsand Posted February 12, 2014 Posted February 12, 2014 Notice any changes in playability (IE: bends) or tuning stability with the trapeze tailpiece?
joesupposta Posted February 12, 2014 Author Posted February 12, 2014 no I haven't noticed any difference with the trapeze tail piece, and been bending strings a fair amount.
Vanschoyck Posted February 12, 2014 Posted February 12, 2014 Great looking arch top. Congratulations!
