Davec629 Posted February 17, 2014 Author Posted February 17, 2014 The running joke in my last band was " What guitar/ bass do you have this time?" or "Dave never buys strings because he doesn't have one guitar long enough for the strings to get old." When you cant afford all the guitars you want, just keep trading until you have owned them all. I'm down to one guitar (the H-140) and I don't count the peavey lying around in pieces. I need to unload some parts before I get the itch to build another one.
yuominae Posted February 17, 2014 Posted February 17, 2014 The running joke in my last band was " What guitar/ bass do you have this time?" or "Dave never buys strings because he doesn't have one guitar long enough for the strings to get old." I had the same thing. I played with some colleagues from work from time to time. They all played better than me and the guitarists only owned one guitar each (epiphones). I used to come along with a different Gibson or Heritage everytime. Nobody ever said anything, but they was thinking, I knows it. And I am a guitaroholic. It has been 153 days since I last purchased a guitar. 153 days! You're strong man! I've sworn to myself I'd buy no more after buying that last 150 one week ago. I started following the for sale section again since yesterday... oh dear.
