Looks like OSB or "Old Style Burst" aka Tobaccoburst. Same as the H150 in my avatar.

My H150's got the exactly same finish, only a smidge darker. It turns heads whenever I pull it out.

Then I start playing it and...it turns ears too! ;-)

Plus 1...................It's one of the most brilliant finishes Heritage offers, IMHO!

OSB doesn't have red in the finish, nor does ASB

Prospect in ASB

No red in either.

Could just be the lighting bit it looks like there's red in the finish of this one

I dunno, I reckon it does look very similar to the finish on Hangar18's 535. The differences could just be in the wood and the lighting.

I vote that it is antique sunburst, or a dark almond burst. My avatar is OSB, on a Millie DC. Has more yellow or vintage burst as it fades to a black edge at the rim. It's a cool looking instrument whatever it is officially.

Looks like the sticker says ASB. Antique Sunburst looks completely different under different lighting.

Wow, this poor guy is going to be very confused. Truth is, without looking at the label, you can't tell. Lighting can do very funny things. Show that to the guys when ordering and they can likely match it!

Best to order one of each finish I'd say. :icon_joker:

Different guys mixing tint, on different days, spraying differently, and each piece of wood takes a finish just a little differently. Label tells the story...obviously. It's a really nice color (I'm thinking ASB)!!

I've said it before and I'll say it again, Will's H555 posted above has quite possibly the coolest, most unique grain pattern that I've ever seen on a heritage guitar. It almost looks like a blurred digital pixilation, none the less, it's quasi- hypnotic and I love it so.

Good day, Sir.

I have an H-575 that looks extremely close. It is an ASB. It is an older model and has aged marvelously.

I pulled up some pictures I took of the guitar and they much don't look like your H-155. So I brought up the actual guitar to compare it to the OP's pictures and the match is very close.

Lighting sure does make a difference.

Good day, Sir.

Thank you Matt. To me it looks like a waterfall of grain.

That one I will never part with!
