Hey guys,

Just looking at pics and researching to get ready to order a 150 build from Jay Wolfe.

Pretty much going with the Wolfe upgrades that they offer already- Long neck tenon, tone pros, ect.

For pickups,So far , I'm liking 59's ,but open to suggestions. Not sure about finish yet, Black a beauty, maybe trans black.

Anyway, what do y'all think about coil tap, or other options, pickups , ect.

I value the input and opinions here and look forward to getting this guitar started!

Thanks,

Alan

Bound headstock, inlaid logo, if not offered on the version you choose.

+1 and

thumbs up on trans black. Great finish. One of my favorites. OSB, ASB, VSB and dark ALSB are also proven 150 winners.

That would be a very cool 150 regardless of what finish you choose.

+1 too on the headstock and bound logo.

I also always thought that the bound maple pickguards look really classy.

Yes Long neck tenon, tone pros ect..is now standard,at least through Wolfe guitars..not sure about all dealers.

I think I'm going with Rosewood board. As far as ultra top ,depends on price. Funds are not unlimited!

Keep it comin'- you guys know your Heritage guitars, love it!

Another option would be to have a coloured trans finish top with a natural back. Very striking.

There is a trans black 150 with such a finish, owned by a HOC member from Germany. I'll see if I can find a pic.
