bolero Posted February 24, 2014 Posted February 24, 2014 was doing a bit of research on the Seymour Duncan SH-55 Seth Lover pup ( I didn't know they started making them in 1994! ) and spotted this article Seymour is holding a Heritage H150, in the pic of him & Seth http://www.seymourduncan.com/blog/pickup-reviews/humbucker-history-the-sh-55-seth-lover-model/ I wonder when that pic was taken? it must have been before 1997 as that's when Seth passed away. RIP

les paulverizer Posted February 24, 2014 Posted February 24, 2014 Heir Apparent, because it makes perfect sense!!! As soon as I got my H150 I fitted SD Antiquities (great pups!) but in the bridge position now I have an early 90s Gibson 57+, I specify it 'cause apparently those pups were designed by and made under strict control by Tom Holmes, and they're wonderful and it sounds great, but unfortunately it's wax potted and found un-potted pups much more responsive and.....better(!) hence next week I'm planning to fit a couple of Seth Lover's.
bolero Posted February 25, 2014 Author Posted February 25, 2014 aha!! I couldn't link to the picture, for some reason...thx for posting!
