Genericmusic Posted February 27, 2014 Posted February 27, 2014 I participated in the survey. It was for students of jazz from a particular teacher/course. Not really reflective of the whole genre. They also did an amp survey that will be published soon.
JeffB Posted February 27, 2014 Posted February 27, 2014 Just realised I filled out the form for that survey. I can be a bit contrary about spam surveys. My answers to the questions were not entirely legit. Dont no how much that wouldve skewed the results. Probably not much.
Redsand Posted February 27, 2014 Posted February 27, 2014 But what if a 6 turned out to be a 9? I don't mind... If all the Hippies, cut off all their hair...

They also did an amp survey that will be published soon. And I thought that I was the only one that got countless emails from Dirk Lausen and Claude Johnson after I clicked on a "Guitar Control" ad on some forum somewhere/sometime. They have put out some nice free stuff, but you have to click "no" to about 20 other "great offers" they are trying to get you to buy.
yoslate Posted February 28, 2014 Posted February 28, 2014 If all the Hippies, cut off all their hair... Nice, Matt.... Was wondering if anyone had picked up on Dave's original source material.
MrB Posted March 1, 2014 Author Posted March 1, 2014 Dave's not here, man. The site that did the survey is for folks learning to play jazz guitar. Young ones susceptible to marketing by the evil G empire.
tsp17 Posted March 1, 2014 Posted March 1, 2014 I participated in the survey. It was for students of jazz from a particular teacher/course. Not really reflective of the whole genre. i did too. but i think they sent it out to anyone signed up on that forum. i've never taken a course from the proprietor. there are decent folks on that board, true there are lots of beginners active there, so the survey might be biased to that perspective.
