I participated in the survey. It was for students of jazz from a particular teacher/course. Not really reflective of the whole genre. They also did an amp survey that will be published soon.

Just realised I filled out the form for that survey.

 

I can be a bit contrary about spam surveys. My answers to the questions were not entirely legit. Dont no how much that wouldve skewed the results. Probably not much.

And I thought that I was the only one that got countless emails from Dirk Lausen and Claude Johnson after I clicked on a "Guitar Control" ad on some forum somewhere/sometime. They have put out some nice free stuff, but you have to click "no" to about 20 other "great offers" they are trying to get you to buy.

i did too. but i think they sent it out to anyone signed up on that forum. i've never taken a course from the proprietor. there are decent folks on that board, true there are lots of beginners active there, so the survey might be biased to that perspective.
