MrPoobah
Freaking gorgeous. Am I weird for thinking they look best with a pick guard? I would consider vintage spec to be anything that would have been found stock on a 50s LP. Fat neck, sunburst, gold, or black top, paf pickups, 50s wiring, etc.
tbonesullivan
Ahhh.. the brother from another mother. or the same mother. Big beefy neck, bigger than any of my other heritages. SD '59 pickups (long leg). Sunsetburst finish. Tophat knobs, vintage amber switch tip. mmmmm good.

redshark
So you say vintage specs means a big neck? that is a MYTH!!! I had seen real late 50's Les Pauls and they don't have the big necks that people think they have. Real 59 neck is a no shoulder rounder shape neck but not as deep as what people think and even the 58 is still same kinda round profile but not deep!! I remember those REAL late 50's les pauls having neck only a tad deeper than the early 90's les paul classic which was supposed to be a 60's neck!! SouthpawGuy
Wow - might be setting a record there. What year? And did you order with a spec on weight? I bought it used, it's a 2003 guitar. First thing I did when I received it was take the control cover off to check if it was an LW model. I weighed it more than once, several times actually, and checked the digital scale. My 137 is heavier at 9lbs. Luck of the draw maybe, or perhaps the original owner specified a lighter guitar
