brentrocks Posted October 5, 2008 Posted October 5, 2008 what do you guys think would be a reasonably good price for this 575 custom? seller says it is in near mint condition, no fret wear, w/ HSC. http://s3.photobucket.com/albums/y52/ebmmquilt/misc/IMG_0090.jpg[/img] http://s3.photobucket.com/albums/y52/ebmmquilt/misc/IMG_0091.jpg[/img] http://s3.photobucket.com/albums/y52/ebmmquilt/misc/IMG_0092.jpg[/img] http://s3.photobucket.com/albums/y52/ebmmquilt/misc/heritageH-575004.jpg[/img] http://s3.photobucket.com/albums/y52/ebmmquilt/misc/heritageH-575003.jpg[/img] http://s3.photobucket.com/albums/y52/ebmmquilt/misc/heritageH-575008.jpg[/img]

mars_hall Posted October 5, 2008 Posted October 5, 2008 I would say 3 weeks of dirty looks and a month of sleeping on the couch ;D
brentrocks Posted October 5, 2008 Author Posted October 5, 2008 I would say 3 weeks of dirty looks and a month of sleeping on the couch ;D sounds about right ;D
Thundersteel Posted October 5, 2008 Posted October 5, 2008 The hardware looks tarnished--and it's missing one pickup!
Dick Seacup Posted October 5, 2008 Posted October 5, 2008 I think it's probably worth more than the $1125 he's asking, if it's the same one.
Bluzman54 Posted October 5, 2008 Posted October 5, 2008 That is a beautiful guitar........just buy it. as for the wife.......it's easier to ask for forgiveness than to ask for permission. After that........just throw a couple extra pillows on the sofa.....the month will go by quickly. Look at the bright side of the sofa time......you could play your new git-fiddle all night and not be bothered. LOL Jim C
JohnCovach Posted October 5, 2008 Posted October 5, 2008 I've seen 575 Customs fetch about $1500 on ebay. If the price is indeed $1125, that's a very good price.
brentrocks Posted October 5, 2008 Author Posted October 5, 2008 I WISH IT HAD 2 PUPS W/ A 3-WAY (NOT HIS WIFE) ;D

LOL Jim C well jim, i have put my wife through a lot the past year...... i have a feeling her forgiveness is just about done. ;D it seems like a great deal, but i also have a feeling that given my musical history, that Heritage would not stimulate me.
SouthpawGuy Posted October 5, 2008 Posted October 5, 2008 it seems like a great deal, but i also have a feeling that given my musical history, that Heritage would not stimulate me. SouthpawGuy Posted October 6, 2008 Posted October 6, 2008 http://s3.photobucket.com/albums/y52/ebmmquilt/zzOther%20guitar%20stuff/P1010025.jpg[/img] Larry Carlton, Lee Ritenour, Al Dimeola, John McLaughlin, John Scofield, and many more. pro-fusion Posted October 6, 2008 Posted October 6, 2008 Hey, Steve Howe has managed to tear it up all these years on a 175--albeit one with a bridge pickup and metal bridge. Get that 575 and strike your best rocker pose!!! >
brentrocks Posted October 6, 2008 Author Posted October 6, 2008 i'm not gonna get the 575....but i did get some good news today. it seems that my dissability claim may come through....that would be a huge financial relief if it does!

Congrats on that good news, Brent! Try to resist "The Temptation"! You have a young family to take care of!
VJonathan Posted October 6, 2008 Posted October 6, 2008 Why don't you buy my Eagle Classic? It's a much better box for jazz.
