buzzy Posted March 11, 2014 Posted March 11, 2014 There's only one real word in that sentence! I bemoan the creeping influence of text-speak and the slow death of proper spelling and punctuation! Harrumph! It is sad. I remember being chastised for using 'ain't' and similar shortcuts. What will poets do? It's totes abom.

zguitar71 Posted March 11, 2014 Posted March 11, 2014 Lollars ? Looks like you have the pole pieces adjusted close to the strings ? Yes they are Lollards. The pole pieces are adjusted individually for each string. I move them until I get what sounds to me even volume from each string for my playing style.

bobmeyrick Posted March 12, 2014 Posted March 12, 2014 Yes they are Lollards... What, followers of the 14th Century philosopher and theologian John Wycliffe, whose unorthodox religious and social doctrines in some ways anticipated those of the 16th-century Protestant Reformation? (Sorry about that. )
Ned Posted March 13, 2014 Author Posted March 13, 2014 Best picture thread ever. Who knew. Thanks for that.
SouthpawGuy Posted March 13, 2014 Posted March 13, 2014 This is the only "real" P90 equipped Heritage I have. Fralin noise frees are installed, although I'm sure the purists would have a fit with those
Ned Posted March 13, 2014 Author Posted March 13, 2014 Beautiful 137. What does it weigh? I am surprised at the weight of a solid body after my adventures with archtops.
SouthpawGuy Posted March 13, 2014 Posted March 13, 2014 Beautiful 137. What does it weigh? I am surprised at the weight of a solid body after my adventures with archtops. Thanks. Mine's a 2006 model and a bit of a porker . It weighs 9lbs on the nose, heavier than my 150 at 8.2lbs and the 157 at 9.4lbs. It does have excellent sustain though, not sure it that's the weight or the pickups. Either way I'm not sure I'd actually change it for a lighter one.
