Now that the honeymoon is over and the real work has begun ...

Ive spent most of the last 10 days or so working on recording experiments with the long scale H575 and it's been really fun. I think I've just about got it dialed in and it's taken me into some methods I had never early considered before. now that I've picked up a decent two channel interface, I'm mostly blending a direct signal from the guitar plus a small diaphragm condenser mic pointed roughly at the pickup. Here are two samples that I recorded today. I think these are really stating to get really close to what I had in mind for this guitar.

Jim, I really like both of your samples, but the second one, "Blue In Greeen" made me listen to it over and over. The acoustic properties of your guitar come through on both recordings. Almost piano-like. Amazing playing!

wow that sounds great!

ps are you recording to tape? is that tape hiss I hear?

That the refrigerator you hear :)

Thanks all. I actually recorded these for a video that I'm working on but I didn't like the way the visuals turned out so I'm redoing it but I do like the way these sound even in a rough mix like these.
