kephers Posted March 25, 2014 Posted March 25, 2014 Got my first Heritage and must say she is a beauty! Plays great and really am impressed with the quality...Was told it was an 80's year model...It has a beautiful top that depending on how you look at her, the flames change...
tulk1 Posted March 25, 2014 Posted March 25, 2014 What a beauty!! Looks like an original pre-ban horn. That's cool. You can decode the S/N HERE. Or post it and some one will do it for you. Looks original with the Schaller pickups and hardware. Yeah, baby!! Congrats! And welcome to the HoC.
SouthpawGuy Posted March 25, 2014 Posted March 25, 2014 Welcome to the HOC and congrats on a fine guitar
cosmitron Posted March 25, 2014 Posted March 25, 2014 Nice!!! Congrats!! Been there too, it's a great feeling to be a new inheritor ^^ (You can tell when the guitar was made if you can read the first letter(s) of the serial at the back of the head http://www.heritageguitar.com/heritagedate.html)
HANGAR18 Posted March 25, 2014 Posted March 25, 2014 Great guitar! Welcome! If you shoot a picture of the serial number on the back of the headstock and perhaps the inside of the pot cover on the back, we will all be able to figure out exactly what you have there.
HANGAR18 Posted March 25, 2014 Posted March 25, 2014 Excellent 150 (not 140)! A H150 with dot inlay Will? A H150 Special, you think?
H Posted March 25, 2014 Posted March 25, 2014 A H150 with dot inlay Will? A H150 Special, you think? Or an H-150P.
Kuz Posted March 25, 2014 Posted March 25, 2014 The rim thickness is narrower like a 140, I vote for 140.
H Posted March 25, 2014 Posted March 25, 2014 The rim thickness is narrower like a 140, I vote for 140. I thought 140s of that era had a sharp cutaway.
chico Posted March 25, 2014 Posted March 25, 2014 I thought 140s of that era had a sharp cutaway. Good eyes
Kuz Posted March 26, 2014 Posted March 26, 2014 I thought 140s of that era had a sharp cutaway. Yep, I missed that. Well, spotted.
