Thomphoto Posted March 25, 2014 Posted March 25, 2014 Received my H575 Custom yesterday. This is my first Heritage, first electric, and first arch top guitar. I've played flattop acoustic for about 60 years. It is going to take some getting used to, especially the 1 11/16 nut width, as I've always had 1 3/4. So far, I'm impressed with the workmanship of the Heritage, and although it sounds pretty good thru my bass amp, I'll be looking for an amp soon.
skydog52 Posted March 25, 2014 Posted March 25, 2014 Welcome to the Heritage club. Be careful they are addicting! Yours turned out great. Congratulations.
kidsmoke Posted March 25, 2014 Posted March 25, 2014 again, I'll say it. Stunning. Other than the blocks.....what custom appointments does it have....lessee...bound headstock....

TalismanRich Posted March 25, 2014 Posted March 25, 2014 Welcome from a fellow Ky resident. Nice looking 575. Is this new or a used one? It looks to be in impeccable condition.
Spectrum13 Posted March 25, 2014 Posted March 25, 2014 Perfect introduction to the HOC. Looks like a wineburst . From Flattop to Electric Archtop...after 60 years and you must be having a little too much fun going Electric
Steiner Posted March 26, 2014 Posted March 26, 2014 Nice snatch thomphoto! I too went decades with only acoustics. I applaud your selection of Heritage and model. Don't be too quick to discard the bass amp, that 575 enjoys a good thump. She also enjoys a full stack Marshall and... Congrats and welcome to the collective.

I'm an old retired photographer now. Ran a studio up until about 8 years ago. Now I just do landscapes, and sell a few prints in galleries. This seems like a very friendly group, and I am looking forward to being a part.
TalismanRich Posted March 26, 2014 Posted March 26, 2014 Afdjs Thanks, it's new. I get up to Louisville a few times a year. You must be going by Steilbergs. I ordered my 157 there back in 2003.
Thomphoto Posted March 26, 2014 Author Posted March 26, 2014 You must be going by Steilbergs. I ordered my 157 there back in 2003. I usually go out Bardstown road and hit Skyline Chili and Guitar Emporium. I have not been to Steilbergs yet.
Thomphoto Posted March 26, 2014 Author Posted March 26, 2014 Perfect introduction to the HOC. Looks like a wineburst . From Flattop to Electric Archtop...after 60 years and you must be having a little too much fun going Electric Yea, gotta try something different every 60 years. LOL
HANGAR18 Posted March 26, 2014 Posted March 26, 2014 Thanks. I'm an old retired photographer now. Ran a studio up until about 8 years ago. Now I just do landscapes, and sell a few prints in galleries. This seems like a very friendly group, and I am looking forward to being a part. That explains the good lighting on that photo. You should upload that photo to your gallery that comes with your HOC profile here and put the year, make and finish in the subject line. Review my gallery as an example. (Click my avatar photo, then click the Gallery tab on the lower right.) Then add more photos as you shoot them because we all love looking at Heritage guitar photos.
Gitfiddler Posted March 26, 2014 Posted March 26, 2014 That burst would be the envy of any ES175 owner. It looks vintage classic. Heritage does such a great job on their finishes.
houndhome Posted March 26, 2014 Posted March 26, 2014 That's a very beautifull looking guitar,and welcome
