Doc3 Posted March 29, 2014 Posted March 29, 2014 Well it followed me home and we had to keep it. Serial number F29 102. It has a beautiful voice and marvelous sustain. If I can figure out how to post pictures I will do so. Great wood grain and finish.
SouthpawGuy Posted March 29, 2014 Posted March 29, 2014 Congrats, an F serial would make it an '89 guitar. Is it a natural or a burst ? For posting pics check out this thread http://www.heritageownersclub.com/forums/topic/777-how-to-for-posting-photobucket-pictures/
ScottNaylor Posted March 29, 2014 Posted March 29, 2014 Looking forward to your insights and pictures! Have never had my hands on a Heritage acoustic but would love to. Enjoy.
DetroitBlues Posted March 29, 2014 Posted March 29, 2014 Need the pics brother! Love my 445, they have great mojo.
schundog Posted March 29, 2014 Posted March 29, 2014 Congratulations! They do sound great; I love mine. Good job on finding one, they are pretty rare.
DavesNotHere Posted March 30, 2014 Posted March 30, 2014 I wish I kept mine! But I do still have a Heritage H-480
Doc3 Posted March 30, 2014 Author Posted March 30, 2014 That is a beauty. Mine is a natural finish like the one above. I will post some pictures when the weather gets better, as the guitars will show better outside. We are having plaintiffs weather in California.
Doc3 Posted April 1, 2014 Author Posted April 1, 2014 I will try to post some pictures, again I am not very tech savy:
Doc3 Posted April 1, 2014 Author Posted April 1, 2014 Nice and my eyes detect a Strat Plus ? The three amigos. The Titty Pink is a Strat Deluxe Plus 1989. It is in amazing condition not a blemish and plays beautifully. I bought it from Jac Ttanna, great guy and amazing background from the early rock scene in the 1960's in LA. Had a great time talking to him about his concerts, his group The Son's of Adam who opened for many of the big names from the time (including jamming with Duane and Greg at the Whiskey). Read about Jac here: http://guitarjam.blogs.com/guitarjam/2006/07/artist_intervie.html I contacted Fender and cannot figure out what color it is, there are three possiblities of Shell Pink, Razz Berry or something like Dusty Rose. So I went with the TP, it sounds more manly when someone asks.

You need to get in touch with Jeff http://xhefriguitars.com/page2.html he is the worlds leading strat plus guy. Send him photos, he will tell you for sure. Could be a rare color too. The DXs had red gold blue lace sensors. I have a plus Dx too. Mine is Caribbean Mist, which is a fairly rare color. Mine is a 92/93 with the same hardware as yours, I had to replace the middle pickup some years ago. I have heard that is not all that uncommon with lace sensors. I personally love this guitar which I call greenie. I am of the mind that the plus series was the second great generation of Fender guitars. And I am a fan of the lace sensors, not everyone is. Be sure to hit Jeff up with photos of yours and peruse his site, sign the guest book, etc. he is a nice guy. I'm going to have Himyarites a project of mine involving a tele. You'll see some of his mods on the site. Here is a shot of my Plus taken alongside my ash am std. Let me know if you connect w Jeff and get an id on your color. Ps I'm the second owner of mine, got it in 1999 or so, the guy who I got it from bought it new in 93 from a local combo store that no longer sells stringed instruments. I have the bill of sale and the ink has faded from the paper that the music store printed it out on lol! (Gives the "invisible ink" patina)

The DXs had red gold blue lace sensors later on later but yours might have the silver-silver-blue of the early ones as well. Very cool! I have a plus Dx too. Mine is Caribbean Mist, which is a fairly rare color but not very rare. Mine is a 92/93 with the same hardware as yours it appears. I had to replace the middle pickup some years ago. I truly love mine and my musical sparring partner has an affinity for it too.

May be Razz Berry. I love the way it sounds and plays. Those are some nice guitars. I really like the natural finishes. (You have a friend hiding at the top of the bed. )
