peterbright Posted April 4, 2014 Posted April 4, 2014 From Jay Wolfe's Collection. I want one just like it!
volhoo Posted April 4, 2014 Posted April 4, 2014 My 1934 Gibson L-7, a Parson's Street original. This is the first year of this model, 16" width with the Nick Lucas neck and inlays. I learned to play on this beauty, given to me by my late Father. https://farm4.staticflickr.com/3797/12140735794_16e777f57d.jpg{/IMG] No Eagle - but still super to me. The Super Eagles can draw a straight line of inheritance and legacy to these. -
Ned Posted April 5, 2014 Posted April 5, 2014 225 has got some serious mojo. These are some fine pictures of substantial beauty. Some fine music has transpired
peterbright Posted April 5, 2014 Author Posted April 5, 2014 Asked the guys a Wolfe to get me a quote on this.
2bornot2bop Posted April 8, 2014 Posted April 8, 2014 From Jay Wolfe's Collection. I want one just like it! Wolfe sold an identical SE last year. I discovered it a day after it sold. I'd have bought it had I been aware it was available. I can't imagine him having 2 identical NC SE's...that one is long gone.
Ned Posted May 20, 2014 Posted May 20, 2014 peterbright, please continue with your number three build. This thread wants more posts. Someday you'll do something magic for a future Volhoo.
peterbright Posted May 20, 2014 Author Posted May 20, 2014 I plan to wait until at least one of the Super Eagles arrive before going forward.
randy2270 Posted May 20, 2014 Posted May 20, 2014 I like the acoustic looks much better. I think the pickguard should be an option and not a standard thing b.c if you take it off you got holes in the side, ugh.
Spectrum13 Posted May 20, 2014 Posted May 20, 2014 I plan to wait until at least one of the Super Eagles arrive before going forward. White peoples problems. We feel your pain brother.
Gitfiddler Posted May 20, 2014 Posted May 20, 2014 White peoples problems. We feel your pain brother. LOL!!
peterbright Posted May 20, 2014 Author Posted May 20, 2014 I was thinking a pick guard with two Lollar P90's in case I wanted to electrify her later
