Blackdog Posted April 7, 2014 Posted April 7, 2014 Howdy Folks, First post here, so apologies if this has had the rounds before. I've got a 20th Anniversary H150 CM & a H535 (pictured) and have had both since new. I've had a niggling question for years regarding the H150. The tuners on the H150 are Grovers and not the pearl Sperzel's as the specs for these models say they are. And I could be wrong, but are the pickups HRW's and not the Seymour Duncan Antiquities as they are supposed to be? The H535 is as it should be. Has anyone out there got a 20th H150 the same as mine? Thanks!
Millennium Maestro Posted April 7, 2014 Posted April 7, 2014 The Twentieth Ann. models I have seen are all as described in literature... The HRW pickups are a definite upgrade, Heritage does a lot of special spec for dealers so... its no surprise to me. Open the control cavity, there is a tag on the inside of the cover and it should have more builder spec info. Beautiful guitars!
Blackdog Posted April 7, 2014 Author Posted April 7, 2014 Thanks for the fast reply! I'll have a look inside.
Blackdog Posted April 7, 2014 Author Posted April 7, 2014 Yes I do - they are the two red ones included on the original post. The 150 & 535.
SouthpawGuy Posted April 7, 2014 Posted April 7, 2014 Yes I do - they are the two red ones included on the original post. The 150 & 535. I see, thought they were stock photos. The dot on the selector switch plus 4 adjustment screws per pickup does look like HRWs.
zookroo1 Posted April 7, 2014 Posted April 7, 2014 Love the H150. The red finish looks awesome on that one!
bolero Posted April 8, 2014 Posted April 8, 2014 that red H150 looks stupendous!! a friend of mine just bought an outstanding Slash red Les paul sig....but I think I prefer your H150!!
chico Posted April 8, 2014 Posted April 8, 2014 Don't harvest those HRWs. (Ok, not my call but gotta tell ya what I think..) And...as stated, variations from the specs are the rule more often then not. welcome!
