New to the Pedal scene: Here's my H-535 thru a recently acquired a BBE Blacksmith and a Joyo Analog Chorus. Sounds pretty cool to me.

Nice sound clip! I had one of those boxes, but just didn't dig it. Kind of a buzzy distortion sound that wasn't my thing. Sold it to another HOC member.

Thanks!

Probably the same guy I got it from LOL.

Love it! Great groove - funky, elusive, interwoven disparate parts. Guitar voicing and playing fits it perfectly. Did you write it and how many piece band?

Thanks fxdx99!

Yes, I wrote that one. Did the vox and guitar this morning over a loop that I'd done a few months ago. I'm fortunate to play with a few different groups but most of my stuff never makes it out of the demo stage. I've been posting what Ive been working on lately in the blog section of the HOC if your interested.

Thanks for the comment though it me stay motivated!

Thanks a lot for all the positive comments HOC, I appreciate the support!!!

Here's one that I could use some help with................. Does anybody have something to add to help this one come alive?

There's a greasy Tom Wait-ish tune here, I just know it.

Love the "sound sculpture" and atmosphere of the first piece. Reminds me of Radiohead.

On the "Caper" track I hear, in my head, a clean wah "Chacka-chick" rhythm layered under some punctuation by a horn section.

Add some OD laden lead line on top and we have the soundtrack for the next "Oceans 11", 12 or whatever movie.

Great stuff, Matt.

Why not overdub

Glad you like the idea. It would help if I were fully in the 21st century, instead of being such a 20th Century "Mr. Analog". I've never plugged a guitar into a laptop or PC. I'm still going back to the 20th century for stuff to plug into.

I could copy this onto cassette and then overdub, I suppose. Then all I need to do is "post" the cassette, right?

Or I guess you may need to show me how to "reach out and grab it" in the soundcloud.

Hey, at least my analog brain has ideas. They just need to be transferred into zeros and ones. I could burn it to CD, but that is my digital "ceiling" at this time. It's time for me to consider this new-fangled media.
