Lewligan Posted May 13, 2014 Posted May 13, 2014 Any of you fine folks own a Heritage Academy? Stumbled across this model earlier when I was reading up on some Heritage history (still fairly new to this company/brand, so I am learning all the time). What a beautiful looking guitar (the one's I have seen, anyway). I'm a big fan of semi-hollow guitars. Once my new '88 H140CM has settled in nicely, I can see myself trying to source one of these beauties. May prove to be a difficult task on this side of the pond though. So - anybody got any pics of their Academy guitars that they'd like to share with me?
Hbom Posted May 13, 2014 Posted May 13, 2014 I can't post pics this morning, but here's mine. Great guitar!! http://s1193.photobucket.com/user/dReit/media/Heritage%20Academy%20Custom/HeritageAcademyCustom9_zps366270a5.jpg.html?sort=4&o=0

Ned Posted May 13, 2014 Posted May 13, 2014 I really like this guitar. Played her this morning. set up with 11's, low action, slim neck.
Hbom Posted May 13, 2014 Posted May 13, 2014 tulk1 Thanks for the pic assist. Guess it was just too early in the morning.
Gitfiddler Posted May 13, 2014 Posted May 13, 2014 The Academy can also be considered to be a more conservative version of the Roy Clark signature...another great guitar. I've said it before...the Academy Custom was my very first hands-on experience with a Heritage. Now I'm hooked on the brand.
silverbeard Posted May 13, 2014 Posted May 13, 2014 My first Heritage also. I know it will be the last one I let go of should that sad day ever come.
skydog52 Posted May 13, 2014 Posted May 13, 2014 Love mine. Had a solid block put in it with ThroBak pickups. She's a keeper!
bsck1 Posted May 15, 2014 Posted May 15, 2014 It's amazing how a slight change in dimension has such a dramatic affect on the overall look. The single cutaway contour is so dramatic. The guitar just looks welcoming.
soybean Posted June 19, 2014 Posted June 19, 2014 Love mine. Had a solid block put in it with ThroBak pickups. She's a keeper! Did you have Heritage make the solid block or someone else?
skydog52 Posted June 20, 2014 Posted June 20, 2014 Did you have Heritage make the solid block or someone else? Heritage did it.
