randy2270
Here are some photos of my guitar amplifier family. Polytone with cabinet and Digitech GSP5 preamp Roland JC 120 with Sweet 16 SWR La Series 15 with sub woofer cabinet Kustom KGA 16R with Alesis Microverb II I have just started using both channels on the Roland, one microphone and one input and it really does sound amazing. I still can't turn it up past 1, even when I am 15 feet away.

ScottNaylor
Some CLASSIC jazz amps there, and you have great flexibility volume-wise between them as well. A very well crafter fleet, sir!
randy2270
looks loud! The polytone is 80 watts but the cabinet reduces the output but gives out more presence so it makes up for it the SWR is a 100 watts JC 120 is 120, duh and the Kustom is 16 watts, but is actually loud enough to fill a room . so yeah, it can be, I only play between 1 and 5 on any of my amps, my guitars are usually loud enough on their own. randy2270
I think pound for pound the Evans are one of the nicest amps on the market today. My friend also recommended to me a Quilter. But I still very partial to the Jazz-kat.

But I still very partial to the Jazz-kat. I have played many of the other amps like Jazz Kat, Fargen, Acoustic Image etc... In short, none of them come close to an Evans. None! The reason for that is the unique EQ that Evans has. Evans's always sound great with higher notes and top strings. Bass is controlled. A lot of jazz guy I know have played acoustic image, jazz kat etc.. eventually look for something new. I have been playing jazz for 30 years and Evans amps are the only amps I have been comfortable on stage with.

barrymclark
...and, yes, the JC120 is CRAZY loud. The Cube 80x does a very nice JC impersonation... but not as loud.
