Does this "contest" have a winner besides we, the viewer?

If I were a judge, I recommend this one as a finalist!!!!!!!!

As the saying goes....."welcome to Dong City, Utah my friend!!!!"

I'm kind of partial to this one. Maybe not up there with some of the iconic Heritage Bursts, but I have not seen another one like it. A true one of quilt/blur with a 50s fat neck and tone for days!!!

Oh man, oh man, oh man! That is NICE! Can't believe I've never seen a photo of ot before...

Not the best pics of my VSB 150, but I thought I'd post whilst I still own it.

Also not bursting as bad as some of the other entries, but it's the best I got :)

Oh, Man, that one owned and built by Pete Farmer is off-the-hook amazing! It has to give him such pride and satisfaction every time he sees it/plays it, knowing he brought it to life! What a great thread.

Since this amazing 150 has the Gibson-esque cutaway, is it one of the early models ('84-'85)?

Yeah... I was wondering that also.... ! What year is Pete's H-150 in the photo?

First year for H-150CM was 1988

This was my first Heritage. Sold a PRS McCarty to get it. Then sold it across the pond to forum member Cosmicdebris.

H157 Classic. SD59s.

Not exactly sure.....I'll let Pete chime in on the details if he cares to, all I know is......that one's my winner.

Another thing to keep in mind regarding the old school design here is that employee builds are just that.......a guitar built any GD they want, regardless of what the usual "rules" may be , especially, when the guitar is never meant to be sold.
