Solid as a rock, repaired headstock and all; my old 1988 H-170. I know I've mentioned it before, but the Schallers rock in this thing. Just took these shots this morning. I don't give this thing near enough love. (As evidenced by the dust!)

I love that one.. great looking axe with sweet flame and finish, inlaid headstock, etc.

You found a great bargain in that one ! Classic Heritage !

That is a killer top. Like the double cut too. Everyone has single cut, I say cut me twice.

Got mine for a couple of weeks already but the honeymoon is not over yet.

Yours looks charming!

Wonder if the extra checking in the neck finish came along with the break? Great repair job, too. Funny thing about the 170s ... I didn't think I'd like them. And still not my favorite Heritage body style. But when you get your fingers on one, hear the tone .... the body shape never comes to mind.

More 170 love

There's some video of me, somewhere, playing this thing at PSP a few years ago. It's a remarkable bag of tones!

sending some 170 love from Michigan. The only new custom order i got from Heritage to date has been my 170 2nd edition 'mystic Juju'. Alot to like about the 170. I happen to like what i consider original designs from heritage being recently the Millie and the 170. They are all favorites, but the 170 is the bees knees....
