brentrocks Posted May 30, 2014 Posted May 30, 2014 GC had this one used. I demoed it on a 4x12 in the store and it sounded pretty good. Took it home and plugged it into my 1x12 and it sounds great!!! I also put a vintage 12ax7 in it. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BAd_Kxk3fgk
Billgelder Posted May 31, 2014 Posted May 31, 2014 That is the smallest head I have ever seen, on top of the biggest head I've ever seen. By the way what is the story on the Heritage neck hanging on the wall?
tsp17 Posted May 31, 2014 Posted May 31, 2014 I love Brent's demos. that thing is a pretty cool little amp.
bobmeyrick Posted May 31, 2014 Posted May 31, 2014 I remember a year or two ago someone posted a demo of the Micro Terror by Chappers and the Captain... I went out and bought one plus the matching cab. Great fun!
DetroitBlues Posted June 2, 2014 Posted June 2, 2014 I've heard its one of the best back up amps to bring to a gig. I've even seen it mounted on a pedal board. I'd probably end up with one sooner or later. Great find Brent, thanks for sharing.
CJTopes Posted June 2, 2014 Posted June 2, 2014 I take one to every gig as a back up. More then enough amp to get you through in a pinch.
brentrocks Posted June 6, 2014 Author Posted June 6, 2014 I have found so far, that it sounds the best if you don't run the gain past noon
koula901 Posted June 6, 2014 Posted June 6, 2014 I think any number of the small amps can sound great through the right cab. I bought an Orange Micro and sent it back once I realized it sounded a lot like my FB Jr. A worthy little thing, but it was doubling sounds I already have.
