barrymclark Posted May 31, 2014 Posted May 31, 2014 As much as I thought my hollow days were coming to an end, it appears that the hollows are what I go for when I play for personal pleasure as opposed to with friends. That being said, there is a trend to my Heritage buying. 2009 H575 - my son's birth year. 1994 Eagle - my oldest daughter's birth year. I figure I'd like to get a 1996 Super Eagle for my youngest daughter's birth year. That sounds like a long shot as even used SE's are not exactly cheap. ....but then, if you had told me at the beginning of last December that by the end of January, I wouldn't have believed it. Maybe a Sweet 16 from 1992 to coincide with my wife's 16th year. A 2008 H550 for the year Jen and I married. Hmm....A 2007 Groovemaster for the year we started dating. haha. RhoadsScholar Posted June 1, 2014 Posted June 1, 2014 sounds like some good reasons to buy heritage guitars, keep them special and you will likely keep em.
