brentrocks Posted June 7, 2014 Posted June 7, 2014 Another good HOC trade! gosteelers (Mike) and I did a little trading action this week! On my end, I received a 2004 Heritage H 170. This is the thinner body 170. This one also sports the Duncan STAG MAGS with push pull coil taps. This was a Wolfe guitar and appears to be all factory stock. It has a beautifully grained rosewood board with MOP dots. The top is a really tight ribbon flame, done up in the gorgeous Sunset Burst. The neck is a medium C with Grover tuners . This 170 is in superb condition! Just some polish swirls and couple tiny impressions on the back. The finish is really thin....you can see the ripple of the flame in the light. The tone is thick and fat....and the STAG MAGs, which are designed to split well, do just that!! Great strat tones as well!!!
chico Posted June 7, 2014 Posted June 7, 2014 Nice. That last shot on the deck really shows off the flame. SSB is one of the best from Heritage IMO
skydog52 Posted June 7, 2014 Posted June 7, 2014 Good trade on both involved. Love that finish and it was done perfectly.
FredZepp Posted June 7, 2014 Posted June 7, 2014 very cool 170. The stag mags seem like a good pickup choice for that and the SSB finish is very nice.
holyroller Posted June 9, 2014 Posted June 9, 2014 How long will you be keeping it till you move on to something new? Lol Really , what is your current heritage line up?
