Gitfiddler Posted June 12, 2014 Posted June 12, 2014 One color that isn't as common to Heritage is RED. To me that seems odd, since most guitar builders have tons of red products. My all time favorite red Heritage is Lyle's red 535...(hint, hint). Let's see yours...Any shade...(except NO PINK)!
big bob Posted June 12, 2014 Posted June 12, 2014 Not red, this is a custom color mixed by Pete for "the Girl" who built it for me.. Cherry Tomato. Won't let me post pics of my 170 custom!

FredZepp Posted June 12, 2014 Posted June 12, 2014 Not mine, but it is maximum redness in a Heritage....
chico Posted June 12, 2014 Posted June 12, 2014 I got ya covered. Sale shots of my '00 Millie H155 in trans red from the shop that sold it to me used, it was a fleabay buy done in person. Since changed out the tailpiece and barrel jack (thanks Brently) Hard to see the "trans" in the red with these pics, but the grain does show thru. That it had silver hardware and not gold lends me to believe it was a custom order. Doesn't Vince Lewis have a trans red big box too?

LK155 Posted June 12, 2014 Posted June 12, 2014 Since you asked.......... a very nice 1996........ (are 6 pix overkill?)
Dick Seacup Posted June 12, 2014 Posted June 12, 2014 Trans red over mahogany H-137DD. Only red guitar I currently own and not nearly as impressive as the others posted here. But, hey, someone needs to represent the proles, right? (editt for speeling)
Gitfiddler Posted June 12, 2014 Author Posted June 12, 2014 My Hero!! What a classy axe...and great photo! Thanks, Lyle.
yoslate Posted June 12, 2014 Posted June 12, 2014 Since you asked.......... a very nice 1996........ This!!
schundog Posted June 13, 2014 Posted June 13, 2014 Hanging out with a flashy Blonde that was fun to fool around with, but I kept the redhead. At the Chicago Muster this past March, with my red 535, the first Heritage I ever bought, got it used from The Gear Page after I was curious about Heritage from a post Brent made over there 4 or 5 years ago. That thread and THIS guitar sent me off on a fun journey with this company and this motley crew...
Memphis Posted June 13, 2014 Posted June 13, 2014 Way too few wine reds out there. That......is a killer looking axe!!
CJTopes Posted June 13, 2014 Posted June 13, 2014 Not much of a glamore shot but it's the best sounding axe I have!!!
