Gitfiddler Posted June 13, 2014 Author Posted June 13, 2014 Here's one of the most famous of all red Heritage guitars...Alvin Lee Signature. This beauty is owned by HOC member, Andy.
SofaPlayer Posted June 13, 2014 Posted June 13, 2014 Since you asked.......... a very nice 1996........ (are 6 pix overkill?) Fantastic pictures of an awesome guitar! Overkill impossible, more please!
SofaPlayer Posted June 13, 2014 Posted June 13, 2014 Not mine, but it is maximum redness in a Heritage.... Indeed maximum redness. An ebony pickguard might have been nicer. Strange, I've always been looking for Heritage archtops in rare colours as most of them come in some kind of brown burst, but somehow I don't like this one. Too orange for me. Interesting though.

FredZepp Posted June 13, 2014 Posted June 13, 2014 Not much of a glamore shot but it's the best sounding axe I have!!! Here's your pic ... but a bit brighter. I like the combination of the red with the black pickguard. Great sounding axe.. no doubt.

TalismanRich Posted June 14, 2014 Posted June 14, 2014 Technically, this one isn't red, its Faded Cherry according to the tag inside. But its close enough for me! ............ and I've got one more favorite cherry item. Its been a very good year. Already done three pies, 10 quarts are in the freezer and almost 4 gallons still to pit. Yes, a VERY VERY good year.

Frank67 Posted June 20, 2014 Posted June 20, 2014 WINNER! hahaha I really like that particular red. Now if I could only describe that red to the builder of my next guitar. Talk to Ren - he will know. I told him what I wanted (a dark, full red, bordering on burgundy, not cherry red) and he got back to me with a few pictures to chhose from - I picked the one I liked best and what I got was awesome!
