ingeneri Posted June 18, 2014 Posted June 18, 2014 From a big band concert and masterclass with students from three local high schools in the Malaysian city of Johor Bahru
yoslate Posted June 18, 2014 Posted June 18, 2014 Great pics! Nothing like paying it forward, working with young people. How was the band? Great to hear from you, Matt! Thanks for keeping us posted. Love that unadorned 525...areal honey.
TalismanRich Posted June 18, 2014 Posted June 18, 2014 Matt!!! Its been a while since we've heard from you. Glad to see you're still at it and doing well. Great post. The kids really seem to soaking in the music. That's a good thing in my book!
big bob Posted June 18, 2014 Posted June 18, 2014 You are a good guy, kids bring out the best in everyone!
schundog Posted June 18, 2014 Posted June 18, 2014 Thanks for the photo journey, Matt, probably as close as this hick will ever get to Malaysia! Two things DO look familiar, though, that OSB 525 (I have one, I just don't know how to do it justice) and Lincoln. I live an hour away from Springfield, IL, where his home, tomb, and Presidential Library are located. Way to help out kids with that Master's Class, and thanks for carrying the Heritage torch around the world. Don't be a stranger, stop in more often. Edit to add: I just looked at the pics again; I don't think that is an OSB finish, as I first thought. VWB? It's a beauty, for sure.
davesultra Posted June 18, 2014 Posted June 18, 2014 Thanks for sharing! And that's one great looking 525!
