2bornot2bop Posted June 22, 2014 Posted June 22, 2014 Incoming acoustic GE...2b's first solely acoustic built jazz archtop:
fxdx99 Posted June 22, 2014 Posted June 22, 2014 Holy cow! Magnificent; words fail. Yeh - even the inlay eagle on the back of headstock. What a beauty.
2bornot2bop Posted June 22, 2014 Author Posted June 22, 2014 not perfect wood...but not too bad......
FredZepp Posted June 22, 2014 Posted June 22, 2014 That Golden Eagle looks to be an inspiring instrument, a beautifully crafted Parsons Street creation. The day that you receive it will be a good day indeed... Congrats.
SofaPlayer Posted June 23, 2014 Posted June 23, 2014 The finger tailpiece looks even nicer on an instrument that's otherwise pretty naked (no pickguard, no pickup). Pure class! Outstanding guitar, congrats! I am sure it plays and sounds as nice as it looks.
Stringman Posted June 23, 2014 Posted June 23, 2014 How many superlatives can one throw at one guitar? Beautiful is a start.
Gitfiddler Posted June 23, 2014 Posted June 23, 2014 That acoustic Golden Eagle is meant to soar! Do you know if it was tap tuned? Well done!
SofaPlayer Posted June 23, 2014 Posted June 23, 2014 Do you know if it was tap tuned? I'd be interested to know if there is a way to find out...?
randy2270 Posted June 23, 2014 Posted June 23, 2014 I think they look sharp when no pickguard installed
Keith7940236 Posted June 23, 2014 Posted June 23, 2014 Good Snag Greg. Have you thought about what strings you're going to use on it? From the pictures, it looks like it's got bronze wound. I'll bet it sounds fantastic!!
Hfan Posted June 23, 2014 Posted June 23, 2014 Incredible..I get jaded around here but that is over the top. T sn what year is that? And a stinger to boot. Congrats.
