I can't separate them and I can't separate from them. I had to share:

I've never been happier to see someone else win something than I was when you got that 535. Pure joy and gratitude in your response, and it was a definite highlight of the event. The fact that your talent does it justice is just the icing on the cake. We'll miss you this year, buddy.

Thank you Brian for the kind words.

The only thing better than the gratitude and appreciation that comes through your post, Gio, would be the pleasure of hearing you play. Beautiful all around.

Looks like a great set up.

MkV is probably the only amp that I harbour any residual gas for. Its a lot of amps.

535 seems like a guitar I could cultivate some gas for.

Me too. Mesa Boogie Subway Rocket is my go to amp. I have a nice little collection of pawn shop Fenders, Ampeg, and more. But the Boogie is just it. Easy to get a variety of tones, built like a tank, and a good footswitch. Just need a guitar and a cable.

Very nice ! what I like most about the Mark V is the first channel. I could easily do with that channel alone, and its' 3 modes. Some of the nicest clean, sparkle and crunchy tones ever.

My thoughts exactly. You can spend hours on that channel alone.

I agree too, even though I love channel 2 as well. I wonder if there is any mod available to make the 3 modes of each channel foot-switchable

Edit: if you look closely at the pic, I was on ch1 indeed!

Dont waste your time thinking about it :)

It can be done Im sure. I had a similar thought on another Mesa and took it to a tech to nut it out for me.

He agreed it could be done but the balancing of the modes vol, gain, eq etc would require inhibiting one or two mode to level the three and then the eq.........and on and on. You might get the switching happening but might not like where the switching enabled you to go.

Its quite a invasive mod. I think it would detract.

A Boogie lover here for sure. Would love to give the Mark 5 a spin. But we no longer have a Mesa dealer in the KCMO area, that I'm aware of.

Nice guitar, too ...... ;). If you make it to PSP are you bringing that rig?

I'll try to bring the Mk V and the 357 if I make it there. It won't be until later on Friday evening though, so I am doubtful about bringing the boogie
