DetroitBlues Posted September 8, 2014 Author Posted September 8, 2014 That wasn't it... The wiring on the tank looks good, I think there must be some other issue going on here....
AP515 Posted September 8, 2014 Posted September 8, 2014 Well I think I'd take the tank apart and see if the springs are ok. If one has come loose then it might make the sound you describe, but I'm just guessing here.

If you dump the amp, you will be able to find another but it's probably worth having it looked at and then you'll know what you would have to do to fix it. Peaveys don't break often. it might be something simple still.

But I gotta have reverb running on its clean channel to sound right.
schundog Posted September 9, 2014 Posted September 9, 2014 You may remember that I mentioned that I didn't think the reverb was working when I sold it to you. At that time, you said it was working ok, and it sounded like it. I just don't want you thinking I was trying to pull a fast one I you.

Just kidding! I did remember that and I also remembered I have Mr. Black Deluxe Plus. I played the amp last night and decided it was still a great sounding amp!
randy2270 Posted October 2, 2014 Posted October 2, 2014 Parts Express has Bandit 112's brand new https://www.parts-express.com/peavey-bandit-112-guitar-combo-amp-with-transtube-80w--248-9614 not the best price I have seen but it should be free shipping and they stand by their products.
Gitfiddler Posted October 2, 2014 Posted October 2, 2014 Hey DB~ Dibbs on that Mr. Black Deluxe Plus...if you ever decide to dump it. Not that you've ever fallen out of love with stuff.
DetroitBlues Posted October 2, 2014 Author Posted October 2, 2014 I've never considering parting with the Mr. Black Deluxe Plus. I find its Reverb and Tremolo to be really nice sounding and an indispensable part of my setup.
