MartyGrass Posted August 13, 2014 Author Posted August 13, 2014 Mark, glad to hear the wife is doing better. I played your new guitar at Limelight Music, it is super nice in every way, glad you got it! Rick is a good fellow to deal with. Rick does seem very decent. I am enjoying the guitar. The Lollartrons take some time to get adjusted to. They are brighter, more articulate than PAFs yet warmer than P90s. But all of that can be addressed by turning a few dials.
davesultra Posted August 13, 2014 Posted August 13, 2014 Congratulations on the NGD! That's one great looking guitar! Best wishes for a speedy recovery to the Mrs.
MartyGrass Posted August 13, 2014 Author Posted August 13, 2014 I hate to mix topics, but my wife is having surgery Friday morning to remove a disk in her neck. She has not been able to walk more that a few minutes at a time for the last month due to pain. We have certainly got our money's worth from Netflix. She has seen every episode of Brother and Sisters, Hell on Wheels, and Damages. That must be over 1,000 shows. I have no idea how many movies she's seen. They expect her to walk comfortably within a couple of hours of the surgery. She can do pretty much everything but heavy lifting and driving beginning the day after. There are no restrictions in two weeks.
Gitfiddler Posted August 13, 2014 Posted August 13, 2014 Wow, that is a delicate surgery. I'm surprised that she will be up so quickly afterwards. Thoughts and prayers go out for her.
brentrocks Posted August 13, 2014 Posted August 13, 2014 that is beautiful...did you have that built?
gpuma Posted August 15, 2014 Posted August 15, 2014 First of all I wish your wife a prompt recovery. Then... Mark you are a Heritage masterpiece magnet!
