Are pickup routs on 150's normally too small for covered humbuckers?

It seems the front pickup rout on my 150 is too small for covered humbuckers. Uncovered humbuckers are fine. But covered pickups tend to get wedged and I can't adjust the height properly. Has anyone else had this problem?

I had that same problem with the bridge pickup on my korina 357. The pickup rout was just a little tight for the Rewind JPPre72 bridge pickup. I thought it was the pickup because there was a SD Seth Lover in it before, but it was slightly wedged in, and the old pickup ring was taller. I had to uses a Dremel tool on the bridge side corners of the rout for the pickup to fit correctly.
