Is it possible to get a H 140 with H 157 specs?

Yes H-147

Will they make first edition and second edition H-147's?

Don't know about first edition but will find out.

I would call this a first edition 147 built August - December 2013

Actually the first edition H147 would have gold hardware with: humbuckers, a Schaller roller bridge and a stop tail. It also has seven ply binding on the body front, five ply on the back. I changed the hardware to nickel on mine. The gold just didn't seem "right" with the blue finish.

Yes... first edition shape! I thought that I remembered one recently made.... of course, what they'll make now may change.

Both yours and sliders that are pictured are awesome. Exceptional Heritage solidbodies.

I remember one that Brent had that I loved also... and I know who has it now too.... :icon_salut:

So I can still order one?

It depends on which body shape you want.... the First Edition has the sharp cutaway like the ones pictured above. ( skydog52 is checking on that version )

The Second Edition has the softer cutaway like a H150... the answer on that is yes.

Hopefully the answer will end up being yes on either style.

Here is an example of the body shape of the Second Edition 140/ 147

They made a limited edition 25th Anniversary 140 a couple of years ago, so it seems logical that they'd still offer a custom if asked nicely.

I recently received an order for a cherry burst H-140 with a sharp cutaway.

Not a problem

Can't get attachment on I pad to work.

I custom appointed my '88 H140. You may be able to do that and save a few $$, especially if you don't need the seven and five ply binding, ebony fretboard and gold hardware. I did single ply binding on the body, bound headstock, mop block inlay and mop logo.

Are you a dealer? Or do you work at the plant or something?

I really like the finish on this one Slider. Which finish is it? Dark almond burst?

koula, this guitar was originally cherry sunburst. I had it refinished a few years ago.

One of my top 10 favorite Heritages and I love the "new" finish. Jack Briggs just knocked it out of the park with the re-fin!!!!

Thanks John. Jack Briggs did do a fantastic job with the refin. Here's a better representation of the finish. The other was in almost direct sunlight.

What is the price difference between a H 150 and H 140 stock?

Probably little difference to none. They make very few 140s so who knows they might even be more

expensive.
