The longer scale length, the rosewood board, and the really chunky neck all contribute. I think the 36th Anniversary PAF is also a good match for almost any arch top. But whatever the contributing factors may be, the guitar really does have some serious tonal magic going on. It's just a wonderfully expressive instrument. (And after almost a week and a lot of pain-free playing, I;m starting to think that the new playing position is going to work out long term).
