tulk1 Posted November 9, 2007 Posted November 9, 2007 Heritage just seems to some of the best tops!! Wonderful figuring without going overboard. That is a great looking guitar.
Thundersteel Posted November 9, 2007 Posted November 9, 2007 It's too bad they put the pickguard on so you can't see ALL the wood! I wish Heritage (and others as well) would leave the pickguard off, so the owner can decide whether to install it or not.
wingnut1 Posted November 9, 2007 Posted November 9, 2007 You can always take the pickguard off. There is only one little hole on the top that isn't very noticeable.

Hisssssssssssssss.. ???...Methinks if it comes w/a pickguard, it should be left on. The very thought of drilling a tiny hole in the AAA top to install one makes me cringe because I don't attack the strings in such a way as to need a PG. I have a H150 CMCL, antique burst w/a cream pickguard, top is nice but not ultra like yours. Had I purchased the guitar special order, I would have requested no pickguard. Since it came with one (and the cream binding and pickguard are starting to nicely "cream"), I just leave well enough alone...love her as she is....
golferwave Posted November 9, 2007 Posted November 9, 2007 VERY nice! That's one beautiful guitar. Enjoy!
DrFrankStein Posted November 18, 2007 Posted November 18, 2007 Thats a seriously good looking piece of wood.
