Gitfiddler Posted September 15, 2014 Posted September 15, 2014 Ever since I sold my Heritage H550, I've missed it. I even found myself checking out each and every 550 on the market...just in case I need that certain itch scratched. But I know I won't follow up and buy another in the foreseeable future. Do any of you folks miss your past Heritage loves? Oh yea? Well prove it............................... OK...Here's my seller's remorse git. Now let's see yours!
DetroitBlues Posted September 15, 2014 Posted September 15, 2014 Nope, I don't regret selling a single one.
hinesarchtop Posted September 15, 2014 Posted September 15, 2014 The Golden eagle in OSB second from the left was a killer guitar that I custom ordered. I wouldn't mind having any of these back!
myoldfriend Posted September 15, 2014 Posted September 15, 2014 You want REMORSE? I bailed on the bidding for this H150 on feeBay recently; worked out for the best, cos I'm positive I would have been sleeping with *it* instead of my wife...
skydog52 Posted September 15, 2014 Posted September 15, 2014 I found a picture of all three of these I wish I had back. Especially the Sweet 16 it had a Sweet Sound!
Keith7940236 Posted September 15, 2014 Posted September 15, 2014 Not much to look at, but what a joy to play. This was my Eagle TDC. It's currently for sale locally for about $600.00 more than what I sold it for.
big bob Posted September 15, 2014 Posted September 15, 2014 Not much to look at, but what a joy to play. This was my Eagle TDC. It's currently for sale locally for about $600.00 more than what I sold it for. I always coveted that guitar.
Thundersteel Posted September 15, 2014 Posted September 15, 2014 My regrets: H-575 Custom: H-150 w/P90s: it had the perfect neck on it! H-555--now owned by Lance (Big Bob):
Guitarbean Posted September 15, 2014 Posted September 15, 2014 No remorse here. I've sold a 575, a sweet 16, Millie, and an incredibly beautiful 150. But in the end, they weren't being used and selling allowed me to experiment elsewhere. The crazy thought has entered my mind of selling my blue SE, but every time I open up the case I giggle like a small child...

Guitarbean Posted September 15, 2014 Posted September 15, 2014 Ooh! You got a blue SE?! Jes I do. I also smile big when I play it!
davesultra Posted September 15, 2014 Posted September 15, 2014 Can't say I regret selling any of mine either.
peterbright Posted September 16, 2014 Posted September 16, 2014 I destroy their pictures so that I will not be haunted.
DC Ron Posted September 16, 2014 Posted September 16, 2014 Ironically enough, MY remorse is now owned by Gitfiddler. As if that's not irony enough, here's a pic of MY remorse next to his.
yoslate Posted September 16, 2014 Posted September 16, 2014 You want REMORSE? I bailed on the bidding for this H150 on feeBay recently; worked out for the best, cos I'm positive I would have been sleeping with *it* instead of my wife... That top...you've got to be kidding...right?! That is the very definition of ridiculous....
Dick Seacup Posted September 16, 2014 Posted September 16, 2014 And The Tone Sucker, despite not having an ebony board, should not have been put up for adoption. Or maybe that's just a myopic remembrance clouded by temporal distance.
Millennium Maestro Posted September 16, 2014 Posted September 16, 2014 She went to an awesome Pro player Tried to get her back but was fund poor! I loved the neck, hated the Vibrola.... wish I could have figured a way to make it a solid bridge. Sold because I could not find another one.... Whata Dumbass! My abbreviated list Honorable mention 25/50 Anniversary Gibson - Sold when Mom died 83 White Custom w/factory Kahler(Owned by Toadies frontman) Sold when Pop died
LK155 Posted September 16, 2014 Posted September 16, 2014 You sold that one twice! Yes, and I'm glad he did! Although I think it looks better with the Slash pickups in it now. As for Heritage remorse, I've made it a personal strategy to buy back every Heritage I've sold. Works for me.
DOGBOY Posted September 16, 2014 Posted September 16, 2014 I destroy their pictures so that I will not be haunted. Peter's got it right, this is like keeping pictures of old girlfriends. However, sure makes for a cool thread down the road.
jazzrat Posted September 16, 2014 Posted September 16, 2014 ummm...this one. Gorgeous figure. The neck was on the thin side and i was in a fat neck mode at the time. Love to have it back
Beagle216 Posted September 16, 2014 Posted September 16, 2014 ummm...this one. Gorgeous figure. The neck was on the thin side and i was in a fat neck mode at the time. Love to have it back Oooooooo! The figuring of this one is really cool. It looks amazing!!
koula901 Posted September 23, 2014 Posted September 23, 2014 Oh lordy, this one. I didn't play it much, but whenever I did, that thing could sing!
