bluesguitar1972 Posted September 19, 2014 Author Posted September 19, 2014 Nice, I'll be very interested to hear what you think. Went with a Jonesyblues 50's style harness and Sheps in my 535. That guitar has sold a few pairs of pickups for Jeff. It sounds phenomenal. Nice guitars. This is my second set of Sheptones I've tried. I bought a set and tried them in my old 2001 Standard LP (had RS pots too) and loved them. They're as good as any other pickups I've tried, and less money than most boutique sets. I hoping they fit well with the 2010 Standard and pretty confident I'll have a rockin' light weight LP when I'm done.
bluesguitar1972 Posted September 22, 2014 Author Posted September 22, 2014 Brought this new Girl to my gig Friday night. Played very well with my Tele. Really happy with the guitar... making my 335 expendable.
fxdx99 Posted September 22, 2014 Posted September 22, 2014 Nice - great finish on it. A semi and a tele. Yeh, that'd do it.
bluesguitar1972 Posted September 23, 2014 Author Posted September 23, 2014 Nice - great finish on it. A semi and a tele. Yeh, that'd do it. Yeah, bases covered there. My tele is a trans butterscotch Suhr black guard.
Blunote Posted September 23, 2014 Posted September 23, 2014 Gorgeous 535! The others aren't too shabby either. Welcome to the HOC.
bluesguitar1972 Posted September 27, 2014 Author Posted September 27, 2014 thanks guys Still digging this. I ended up trading away my 335 (still a nice guitar in its own right) since acquiring this. (went in a deal to net a motorcycle of all things). Heritage is beautiful, plays and sounds great, and is nice and light. It's a win all around.
